Wyoming Elk Unit 10

Sightings, hotspots, and hunt insights for Wyoming Game Management Unit 10.

Wyoming Unit 10 is a plains-to-peaks transect that hands elk hunters two worlds at once: the wind-scoured Laramie Plains basin at roughly 7,200 feet sweeping west into the granite and quartzite crest of the Snowy Range near 12,000 feet. We track how elk work the sagebrush flats, the Laramie and Little Laramie River corridors, and the aspen-and-lodgepole transition benches around 8,500 to 10,000 feet, plus the corner-to-corner checkerboard of private and BLM ground that governs access. The pack includes Unit Overview and Topography, Vegetation and Hydrology, Seasonal Expectations, Logistics and Access, and a one-page Essential Recon summary. Study the unit on our interactive map, then export the points you choose to onX or your favorite hunting map.

How this data was collected

Data Hunt Guide aggregates publicly available sighting reports from across the web (social media, hunting forums, harvest reports, and trail-camera shares) and uses a proprietary algorithm to identify high-activity zones (hotspots) within each unit. Our team verifies coordinates manually before publication.
