Wyoming Hunt Area 78 is a place where deer country stands almost vertically: the eastern wall of the southern Teton Range erupts out of the Jackson Hole valley floor near 6,100 feet and climbs past 10,400 at Rendezvous Mountain, packing roughly 4,000 vertical feet into a few horizontal miles.
