Washington Turkey Unit 121

Sightings, hotspots, and hunt insights for Washington Game Management Unit 121.

GMU 121, the Huckleberry Unit of Stevens County, is close-cover turkey country: shaded conifer timber, brushy clearcut regrowth, and creek bottoms tucked between Lake Roosevelt on the west and the Colville corridor on the east, not open glassing ground. Most huntable terrain sits in the 2,500 to 4,500 foot band, with perennial water in Hunters, Cottonwood, and Tshimakain creek drainages and forage in serviceberry, ponderosa openings, and 5 to 15 year regrowth blocks, all threaded by a maze of public and private timber ground. Our pack covers Unit Overview and Topography, Vegetation and Hydrology, Seasonal Expectations, Logistics and Access, and a one-page Essential Recon summary. Study the unit on our interactive map, then export the points you choose to onX or your favorite hunting map.

How this data was collected

Data Hunt Guide aggregates publicly available sighting reports from across the web (social media, hunting forums, harvest reports, and trail-camera shares) and uses a proprietary algorithm to identify high-activity zones (hotspots) within each unit. Our team verifies coordinates manually before publication.
