Sea-level estuary fringe along Willapa Bay rises into rolling, deeply incised foothills topping out near 1,800 to 2,300 feet, and the deer follow 3 to 10 year-old reprod clearcuts loaded with salmonberry, vine maple, and red huckleberry browse near the Naselle, Bear, and Nemah drainages.
