Washington's GMU 108 is dark, wet-side Selkirk country in the state's northeast corner, where long north-south ridges drop into deeply incised, timber-choked drainages that hide deer in tight cover most hunters glass right past. The unit climbs from roughly 2,000 ft along the Pend Oreille River to about 6,400 ft on the Selkirk crests, with huckleberry-rich logging cuts driving fall movement and perennial creeks feeding nearly every drainage.
