Northern Cache is defined by the Bear River Range, a high limestone and quartzite spine, paired with the abruptly steep Wellsville front rising off Cache Valley, so deer country here climbs from a 4,500 ft agricultural floor to nearly 9,980 ft at Naomi Peak.
