Pennsylvania Turkey Unit 2F

Sightings, hotspots, and hunt insights for Pennsylvania Game Management Unit 2F.

Unit 2F is classic Big Woods Pennsylvania, a dissected slice of the Allegheny Plateau where turkeys work rolling hardwood ridges and the steep, narrow hollows between them. Flocks scratch the northern hardwood benches from roughly 1,200 to 1,800 feet (black cherry, sugar maple, beech, and red oak) then drop toward creek bottoms near 900 feet along the Allegheny and Clarion corridors, where hard mast and clover-seeded forest roads pull birds in. With checkerboarded public ground stitched through the Allegheny National Forest and State Game Lands, boundary knowledge is everything. The pack covers it all: Unit Overview and Topography, Vegetation and Hydrology, Seasonal Expectations, Logistics and Access, and a one-page Essential Recon summary. Study the unit on our interactive map, then export the points you choose into onX or your favorite hunting map.

How this data was collected

Data Hunt Guide aggregates publicly available sighting reports from across the web (social media, hunting forums, harvest reports, and trail-camera shares) and uses a proprietary algorithm to identify high-activity zones (hotspots) within each unit. Our team verifies coordinates manually before publication.
