Nevada Deer Unit 102

Sightings, hotspots, and hunt insights for Nevada Game Management Unit 102.

Unit 102 is a true big-country deer unit in Nevada's far northeastern corner, where the Jarbidge Mountains rise to 10,839 ft at Matterhorn Peak before plunging into deep, perennial river canyons along the Jarbidge, East Fork Jarbidge, and Bruneau drainages. Deer hunters here read elevation hard: mahogany stringers, serviceberry, and bitterbrush at mid-mountain benches between 7,000 and 8,500 ft, with sage-steppe browse holding animals on lower winter range. Our pack covers Unit Overview and Topography, Vegetation and Hydrology, Seasonal Expectations, Logistics and Access, and a one-page Essential Recon summary. Study the unit on our interactive map, then export the points you choose to onX or your favorite hunting map.

How this data was collected

Data Hunt Guide aggregates publicly available sighting reports from across the web (social media, hunting forums, harvest reports, and trail-camera shares) and uses a proprietary algorithm to identify high-activity zones (hotspots) within each unit. Our team verifies coordinates manually before publication.
