Montana's HD 335 is an island range play: the Crazy Mountains erupt straight out of the Shields River valley, climbing from roughly 4,400 feet of sage benches and cottonwood bottoms to over 11,200 feet of glacier-carved granite in under three air miles, and for deer hunters that vertical contrast is everything.
