Montana Deer Unit 110

Montana Hunting District 110 is not the dry plains most picture: it is the wet, heavily timbered North Fork Flathead country walled by the Whitefish Range to the east and the Stillwater high country to the west, with Glacier National Park a hard no-hunting line across the river. For deer hunters that means short sightlines and steep timbered climbs from a 3,000 foot valley floor toward Nasukoin Mountain near 8,086 feet. Because water is everywhere, deer are not tied to it, so you read forage edges of serviceberry, huckleberry, and willow instead.
