Michigan's Unit 66 is glacial legacy country in the central Lower Peninsula, where the Muskegon River corridor carves a sandy river-bottom system through rolling moraines, kettle depressions, and outwash plains, the kind of edge-rich terrain that pulls deer between cedar swamp bedding and oak ridges.
