Colorado's GMU 70 is a "step-up" unit where turkey country changes with every gain in elevation, stitching pinyon-juniper benches and red-rock canyons up into the aspen and mixed-conifer ridges of the western San Juans, all framed by the San Miguel and Dolores rivers.
