Colorado Turkey Unit 25

Sightings, hotspots, and hunt insights for Colorado Game Management Unit 25.

Colorado GMU 25 is Flat Tops country: a massive basalt-capped plateau in the White River National Forest that runs table-flat on top, then plunges off sheer escarpments into deep, timbered canyons, so turkey hunters work the seams where oak brush, aspen, and the lower White River and Sweetwater Creek breaks meet open ground between roughly 7,200 and 8,500 feet. Natural water is everywhere (seeps, tarns, and willow drainages), which spreads birds out rather than pinning them. Our data pack covers Unit Overview and Topography, Vegetation and Hydrology, Seasonal Expectations, Logistics and Access, plus a one-page Essential Recon summary. Study the unit on our interactive map, then export the points you choose to onX or your favorite hunting map.

How this data was collected

Data Hunt Guide aggregates publicly available sighting reports from across the web (social media, hunting forums, harvest reports, and trail-camera shares) and uses a proprietary algorithm to identify high-activity zones (hotspots) within each unit. Our team verifies coordinates manually before publication.
