Colorado Pronghorn Antelope Unit 58

Sightings, hotspots, and hunt insights for Colorado Game Management Unit 58.

GMU 58 is a glassing unit at heart, where the sagebrush expanses of the Gunnison Basin meet the volcanic uplift of the La Garita Mountains, giving pronghorn hunters wide-open parks (Cochetopa Park chief among them) that you can pick apart from across a basin. The unit floor sits near 8,200 feet along Cochetopa Creek, with reliable perennial water in Cochetopa and Los Pinos Creeks, and roughly 75 to 80 percent public ground. Our pack covers Unit Overview and Topography, Vegetation and Hydrology, Seasonal Expectations, Logistics and Access, plus a one-page Essential Recon summary. Study the unit on our interactive map, then export the points you choose to onX or your favorite hunting map.

How this data was collected

Data Hunt Guide aggregates publicly available sighting reports from across the web (social media, hunting forums, harvest reports, and trail-camera shares) and uses a proprietary algorithm to identify high-activity zones (hotspots) within each unit. Our team verifies coordinates manually before publication.
