Colorado Deer Unit 25

Sightings, hotspots, and hunt insights for Colorado Game Management Unit 25.

Colorado's Unit 25 is the Flat Tops in miniature: a massive basalt-capped plateau of table-flat tundra that plunges off cliff-banded rims into deep, timbered canyons, so deer hunters work elevation bands from the 7,200 ft White River and Sweetwater Creek breaks up past 12,000 ft. Water is everywhere (glacial tarns, named lakes, perennial seeps), which disperses animals widely instead of pinning them, while aspen understory and lower oak brush carry the forage. Our data pack covers Unit Overview and Topography, Vegetation and Hydrology, Seasonal Expectations, Logistics and Access, plus a one-page Essential Recon summary. Study the unit on our interactive map, then export the points you choose to onX or your favorite hunting map.

How this data was collected

Data Hunt Guide aggregates publicly available sighting reports from across the web (social media, hunting forums, harvest reports, and trail-camera shares) and uses a proprietary algorithm to identify high-activity zones (hotspots) within each unit. Our team verifies coordinates manually before publication.
