Colorado Deer Unit 24

Sightings, hotspots, and hunt insights for Colorado Game Management Unit 24.

Unit 24 deer hunters are working the southern flank of the Flat Tops Plateau, a basalt-capped volcanic uplift where broad alpine parks fall away through aspen benches and dark spruce-fir timber to the White River corridor. Elevations run from roughly 6,400 feet along the river to over 12,000 feet on the rim, and a large wilderness core means foot or horseback travel once you leave the trailheads, which shapes pressure heavily. Our pack covers Unit Overview and Topography, Vegetation and Hydrology, Seasonal Expectations, Logistics and Access, plus a one-page Essential Recon summary. You study the unit on our interactive map and export the points you choose to onX or your favorite hunting map.

How this data was collected

Data Hunt Guide aggregates publicly available sighting reports from across the web (social media, hunting forums, harvest reports, and trail-camera shares) and uses a proprietary algorithm to identify high-activity zones (hotspots) within each unit. Our team verifies coordinates manually before publication.
