Colorado Deer Unit 211

Sightings, hotspots, and hunt insights for Colorado Game Management Unit 211.

Unit 211 deer hunters are working a volcanic high plateau in northwest Colorado's Flat Tops country, where basalt-capped, table-top mesas drop off in steep escarpments into glacially carved drainages of the White River. The unit floor sits near 7,200 feet and climbs above 12,300 feet, with aspen-and-oak benches feeding a sponge-like plateau that holds dozens of perennial creeks and beaver complexes. As snow builds, deer slide downhill toward low southern aspects, sage benches, and oakbrush draws. Our pack covers Unit Overview and Topography, Vegetation and Hydrology, Seasonal Expectations, Logistics and Access, plus a one-page Essential Recon summary. Study it on our interactive map, then export the points you pick to onX or your favorite hunting map.

How this data was collected

Data Hunt Guide aggregates publicly available sighting reports from across the web (social media, hunting forums, harvest reports, and trail-camera shares) and uses a proprietary algorithm to identify high-activity zones (hotspots) within each unit. Our team verifies coordinates manually before publication.
