Colorado Deer Unit 10

Sightings, hotspots, and hunt insights for Colorado Game Management Unit 10.

Tucked into Colorado's extreme northwest corner west of Craig and north of Meeker, GMU 10 is classic high-desert canyon country where broad sagebrush flats climb into the massive Book Cliffs escarpment, so deer hunters work everything from 5,200-foot basins up to a 9,000-foot crest. Bitterbrush and mountain shrub feed the herds, water pinches down to canyon springs and stock tanks in dry years, and gumbo mud plus limited cell service make access its own challenge. Our pack covers Unit Overview and Topography, Vegetation and Hydrology, Seasonal Expectations, Logistics and Access, and a one-page Essential Recon summary. Study the unit on our interactive map, then export the points you choose to onX or your favorite hunting map.

How this data was collected

Data Hunt Guide aggregates publicly available sighting reports from across the web (social media, hunting forums, harvest reports, and trail-camera shares) and uses a proprietary algorithm to identify high-activity zones (hotspots) within each unit. Our team verifies coordinates manually before publication.
