Arizona Elk Unit 10

Sightings, hotspots, and hunt insights for Arizona Game Management Unit 10.

Unit 10 sprawls west of Williams toward the Grand Canyon and the Aubrey Cliffs, a vast high-desert juniper plateau that climbs into forested Kaibab high country, and for elk hunters the real story is water: across these open flats animals compress hard around functioning dirt tanks in dry years and scatter when the monsoon hits. Elevations run from roughly 4,500 feet in the western canyon bottoms to about 8,000 feet of ponderosa, with cell service nearly nonexistent and high-clearance 4WD a must. Our pack covers Unit Overview and Topography, Vegetation and Hydrology, Seasonal Expectations, Logistics and Access, plus a one-page Essential Recon summary. Study the unit on our interactive map, then export the points you choose to onX or your favorite hunting map.

How this data was collected

Data Hunt Guide aggregates publicly available sighting reports from across the web (social media, hunting forums, harvest reports, and trail-camera shares) and uses a proprietary algorithm to identify high-activity zones (hotspots) within each unit. Our team verifies coordinates manually before publication.
