Arizona Deer Unit 7E

Sightings, hotspots, and hunt insights for Arizona Game Management Unit 7E.

Unit 7 East is big, open plateau country north of Flagstaff and east of Highway 89, where vast high-elevation grasslands and pinyon-juniper hills break suddenly into the deep canyons draining toward the Little Colorado River Gorge, giving deer hunters long glassing country with dramatic rim breaks. Elevations run from roughly 5,000 feet in the canyon bottoms to nearly 7,800 feet on the mesa tops, water leans heavily on dirt stock tanks, and forage tracks the summer monsoon. Our pack covers Unit Overview and Topography, Vegetation and Hydrology, Seasonal Expectations, Logistics and Access, plus a one-page Essential Recon summary. Study the unit on our interactive map, then export the points you choose into onX or your favorite hunting map.

How this data was collected

Data Hunt Guide aggregates publicly available sighting reports from across the web (social media, hunting forums, harvest reports, and trail-camera shares) and uses a proprietary algorithm to identify high-activity zones (hotspots) within each unit. Our team verifies coordinates manually before publication.
