Arizona Deer Unit 5BN

Sightings, hotspots, and hunt insights for Arizona Game Management Unit 5BN.

Unit 5B North spreads across the Coconino Plateau between Flagstaff and Winslow, south of the Little Colorado River, where deer hunters work vast ponderosa pine flats broken by basalt mesas, lava flows, and deep canyon drainages. Elevations run from roughly 6,000-foot forest flats to 8,000-foot mesa tops, with deer feeding in open grass parks at dawn and dusk, bedding in shaded timber, and leaning on dirt stock tanks during dry spells. Our pack covers Unit Overview and Topography, Vegetation and Hydrology, Seasonal Expectations, Logistics and Access, and a one-page Essential Recon summary. You study the unit on our interactive map, then export the points you choose to onX or your favorite hunting map.

How this data was collected

Data Hunt Guide aggregates publicly available sighting reports from across the web (social media, hunting forums, harvest reports, and trail-camera shares) and uses a proprietary algorithm to identify high-activity zones (hotspots) within each unit. Our team verifies coordinates manually before publication.
