Arizona Deer Unit 3C

Sightings, hotspots, and hunt insights for Arizona Game Management Unit 3C.

Unit 3C trades the high ponderosa plateau of its northern neighbors for broken high-desert canyon country, where exposed sandstone and limestone rimrock force deer into a tight relationship with water rather than elevation. From a roughly 5,800 foot desert-transition floor of Utah juniper, pinyon, and cliffrose up to a 7,800 foot ponderosa edge, dirt tanks become the primary magnets in dry years while monsoon rains scatter animals across benches and rim corridors. Our pack covers Unit Overview and Topography, Vegetation and Hydrology, Seasonal Expectations, Logistics and Access, and a one-page Essential Recon summary. You study the unit on our interactive map, then export the points you choose to onX or your favorite hunting map.

How this data was collected

Data Hunt Guide aggregates publicly available sighting reports from across the web (social media, hunting forums, harvest reports, and trail-camera shares) and uses a proprietary algorithm to identify high-activity zones (hotspots) within each unit. Our team verifies coordinates manually before publication.
